Effective March 25, the Nerstrand Fire & Rescue is responding to Sections 13, 23–27, and 33–36 in Northfield Township as part of a dual response model with Northfield Area Fire & Rescue Service.
- Northfield Area Fire & Rescue remains the primary agency
- Nerstrand Fire will provide additional response and support
This change is designed to improve response times, strengthen coverage, and enhance overall service to the community.
We appreciate Northfield Township and Northfield Area Fire & Rescue for their partnership and trust.
We are working with ISO to update insurance providers, which may help improve insurance ratings for properties in the area.
Any questions can be directed to Nerstrand Chief Johnson or Northfield Township.
